I have heard the phrase knot in the pit of my stomach many times and experienced the feeling of a knot in the pit of my stomach. This week after 50 years I have learned what that means.
Solar plexus, dense cluster of nerve cells and supporting tissue, located behind the stomach in the region of the celiac artery just below the diaphragm. It is also known as the celiac plexus. Rich in ganglia and interconnected neurons, the solar plexus is the largest autonomic nerve center in the abdominal cavity. Through branches it controls many vital functions such as adrenal secretion and intestinal contraction. Popularly, the term “solar plexus” may refer to the pit of the stomach. A blow to that area, if it penetrates to the true solar plexus, not only causes great pain but may also temporarily halt visceral function.
As we learned this week from the master key system, non resistant thought expands the Solar Plexus; resistant thought contracts it. Pleasant thought expands it; unpleasant thought contracts it. Thoughts of courage, power, confidence and hope all produce a corresponding state, but the one arch ememy of the Solar Plexus which must be destroyed before there is any possibility of letting any light shine is fear.
No more knots, no more fear, I am in touch with Infinite Strength.
